Why practice yoga?

There are many wonderful benefits of practicing yoga. Yoga helps manage stress, anxiety, and pain. Yoga increases flexibility and strength in both mind and body. Yoga brings focus to the present moment, combining breath and movement to find inner peace. Yoga helps improve circulation by increasing your blood flow and aids in weight management. Yoga enhances quality sleep patterns and helps to learn meditation tools to utilize in daily life. Yoga makes you happy and helps maintain a healthy lifestyle.

What is the difference between hot yoga and Bikram?

These two practices vary significantly. Bikram Yoga is a 90-minute class in a carpeted space. Yogis are led through a series of 26 postures without music in a 105-degree room with 40% humidity. Hot yoga refers to any vinyasa style of yoga performed in a non-carpeted heated room. The instructor links the series of postures with breath and movement to music. The temperature typically varies between 90-105 degrees depending on the class.

What is hot yoga?

We use state-of-the-art climate control and 360-degree humidity to create a safe heated environment for practitioners.

Simply put, hot yoga is yoga in a heated room. We offer many different styles of yoga in this setting.

What is the best class for a beginner?

Warrior Flow 1 is the best class for a beginner. There are two options; mildly heated around 90 degrees or non-heated. Personal choice.

How should I prepare?

We recommend light eating a few hours prior to class and make sure you are hydrated. We recommend staying well hydrated before class and throughout the day.

What should I bring / wear to class?

Please bring a refillable water bottle, a towel and a mat if you have one. We provide mats and towel rentals for a small fee if you forget. Please wear fitted exercise clothes that you can sweat and easily move in. Arrive at the studio 10 minutes prior to class to meet the instructor, set up your mat and be present in the space before class.

What if I am not flexible?

It is not necessary to be flexible prior to beginning your yoga journey.

Flexibility is something you gain through a consistent yoga practice.

This environment is judgement free where you are one with your mat and practice at your own pace.

Can beginners attend hot classes?

We love beginners! Everyone has to start somewhere. We have a safe, welcoming and encouraging environment for all to practice yoga


Will my child be grouped with children their age?

The groups are carefully constructed based on age.

We offer three categories; Parents and mini warrior (kids under 4), Junior Warrior (5-9), Teen Warrior (10-14).

Please feel free to call to discuss what is best for your child.

Will my child be able to practice the skills at home?

Absolutely! Each class offers tools and skills that your child can utilize outside of the yoga studio. We encourage all children to share this knowledge with their family.

What is the class structure?

The class is led by a certified kids’ instructor in a non-heated room.

The sessions are fun, engaging, encouraging and adaptable.

We focus on the five elements of connect, breath, move, focus, and relax.

Does my child need to bring their own mat?

No. We provide yoga mats for all children.

How can I prepare my child for class?

Have your child dress in comfortable clothes that they can move in.

They will remove their shoes and socks before entering the yoga studio.

Please give them a light snack before class, use the bathroom and remember to bring a reusable water bottle.

Are the kids classes drop off?

All classes are drop off unless otherwise indicated.
