Sculpted Warrior

Kari Cowell

Hi! I'm Kari and I'm originally from Wisconsin. I started practicing yoga 6 years ago when I worked a full time, high paying job and attended acting school full time. I needed a way to destress! When I moved to L.A. in 2014 to start my acting career, a dear friend of mine introduced me to hot yoga. It was love at first Savasana! A year after moving to L.A., one of my favorite teachers suggested I enroll in teacher training. With a gentle nudge and tons of support from my mentor, I decided to take the leap into teaching yoga! I have been teaching full time since 2016 and am certified in Power Yoga (200 hours), Yoga Sculpt, and Yoga for Traumatized Populations. I also teach Vinyasa, restorative, and kids yoga, and I am a certified advanced Reiki practitioner. In May 2018, I will be traveling to India to receive my 300 hour advanced yoga teacher training. There are too many words to express how much this beautiful practice has affected my life. I hope to create a safe space for my students to explore their practice and make it uniquely their own, as well as inspire a life long curiosity and love for yoga, health, and wellness. I love connecting with each and every single one of my students, and would be overjoyed to grab a tea with you to talk about yoga, life, the Universe, and everything!

Alexa Palminteri

Alexa has been studying and practicing movement of the body her whole life. She began dancing at the age of 2 and is currently working as a dance teacher and choreographer all over California. As a dancer, Alexa was constantly overusing her body and ran it into the ground. Due to many injuries, she was desperate to find a practice that rehabilitated and rejuvenated her body all while keeping it in shape, This is where yoga came in. Alexa fell in love with yoga and how therapeutic it was. After a couple of years of committing to her practice, she decided to take her passion a step further and become a certified instructor. She recently completed her 200 hours in vinyasa flow and is continuing her education and building her practice through multiple extension programs. Alexa is also currently enrolled in the Yoga Therapy RX program at Loyola Marymount University where she hopes to continue growing as both a student and an instructor, as well as a healer for those in need. Her goal is to provide a challenging, safe, and rejuvenating environment for all her fellow yogis.

Emma Weber

Emma found yoga in 2011 while she was in Boulder, Colorado. Boulder was not for her, but yoga sure was! Upon her return to Los Angeles she immediately began her practice at the first studio she could find. Soon after, she took her first teacher training and began teaching. Emma's influence in the yoga community involves not only teaching but also private instruction and teacher training experience. Her certifications include vinyasa, power, hatha yoga as well as group fitness. On a daily basis she teaches and takes class, to stay balanced in her own practice which is the main principle she tries to instill in her students. Emma urges others to be open to life's opportunities ... You never know where they will take you. Namaste!

Nikki McFadden

Hi, I’m Nikki! My love affair with yoga begin at Corepower Yoga in 2015. With an extensive background in competitive gymnastics and contemporary dance, yoga combined both the physical and spiritual benefits that I craved, and proved to be the perfect niche for me! I received my training through Corepower Yoga and currently hold certifications in Power Yoga, Hot Power Fusion, and Yoga Sculpt. With an educated background in movement, I am passionate about helping others explore and develop their own kinesthetic awareness through yoga, specifically through alignment based verbal cues and physical adjustments. My personal yoga journey has made a profound impact on my life. I am a happier and more compassionate human being. To say that I love yoga would be an understatement. It truly lights my soul on fire every single day. My hope is to inspire and motivate others to dig deep so that they may truly see what lies beneath the surface. I believe that within each and every one of us resides a magical glowing light, and that yoga, if practiced with consistency and dedication, can be used as a tool to both access and cultivate this inner light. When I’m not practicing or teaching yoga you can find me reading, sipping coffee at the beach, day tripping with my family, or doing handstands in odd places with my kiddos.

Morgan Kaczor

Morgan graduated from California State University Long Beach with a BA in Child Development and Family Studies and a minor in Dance. Throughout her college career she worked as a teacher in the Child and Family Center, taught dance to children and continued to return back to Summer Camp in Los Angeles as a Director for 12 years. After graduating college, she went on to become the Assistant Director at My Gym Fitness Center in Manhattan Beach, developing and facilitating programs to help children 6 weeks to 15 years develop physically, cognitively and emotionally. Morgan spent the 2012-2013 school year in Israel as a volunteer through the Israel Teaching Fellowship, teaching English to students in 1st-6th grade. Morgan has always been an athlete and her love for movement and meditation continued as she decided to further her knowledge and practice by studying to receive her Yoga Teacher certification. Yoga, for Morgan, is the "owners manual" to living the brightest version of oneself. Morgan's passion for yoga has pushed her to a greater understanding of herself and sparked a fire within to share the use and benefits of yoga, with intent, as a tool for true healing and happiness for everyone. Morgan's class is full of positive energy, a powerful flow and rockin' beats. Morgan hopes to give students of all ages an opportunity to expand themselves both on and off the mat.
