Cat Macary

Cat Macary is a registered yoga teacher with over 14 years of teaching. Cat was first certified in 2003 with Vinyasa Flow 200 HR Teacher Training in the Jivamukti Lineage. She then upgraded her skills with Pre and Post-Natal Yoga with The Khalsa Way through Golden Bridge School of Yoga with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa; Indigo Kids Yoga teacher training; Urban Zen Integrative Therapy training and recently completed the 300 Hour Professional Program through YogaWorks. Cat also loves to share her expertise as a wellness educator teaching families how to enhance their health and enjoy vibrant living using nutrition and essential oils. Cat infuses every class with safe and creative sequencing, compassionate support for each students journey on and off of the yoga mat as well as complete mind-body-spirit harmony.

Tara Smith

My yoga journey began Almost 15 years ago when I discovered Hot Yoga living in San Francisco California. Yoga became a daily practice in my life, bringing me constant and continuous peace of mind. I went in for the physical but came out with a sense of pride and passion for myself realizing quickly that it's never about how you look in that room but how you feel. Wanting others to approach yoga in the same way it lead me to my first teacher training in late 2013. I obtained my RYT 200hr certification and continue to educate myself with trainings and workshops as well as I have a dedicated personal practice. I have taught over 2000 studio classes priding myself on personal attention with verbal and physical alignment details, injury modification and positive encouragement always. I am grateful to be apart of something that is so transformative for people. Everyone comes in the room for different reasons. I look forward to teaching you and being apart of your yoga journey in our wonderful community.

Anissa Davis

Throughout my life, I have always been very active. I was a dancer for almost 15 years but had to close that chapter due to an unfortunate ATV accident. After overcoming the traumatic ATV accident, I was determined, to not only continue having an active, adventurous, and full life but to also find happiness in my own skin again. The scars remind me every day that life is a blessing and life can change instantly. Through my struggles and journey during recovery, I thankfully found yoga after so many years. It lifted an immense weight off my shoulders and guided me through positive experiences that have fueled my love and appreciation for the practice. I was inspired by my mentors, peers, and personal growth to become a certified yoga instructor. Motivated to give this same inspiration to others and help people to find their center and inner happiness. Through patience, intention, and consistency, I hope to help guide you through your mental, physical, and spiritual journey.

Rachel Wilson

My yoga journey began as a way to live a more meaningful and mindful life. As a flight attendant, I have found that yoga not only keeps me grounded while I’m away from home, but also helps manage my stress and anxiety. I believe that yoga should be accessible to everyone and should be met with compassion as well as discipline. While looking to deepen my own personal practice I found Kaya Yoga Remedy (formerly Underground Yoga) a studio in Huntington Beach where I received my 200 hour teacher training under the instruction of the incredible husband and wife duo Gilbert and Ashley Naungayan. I like to integrate my knowledge of Hatha yoga with the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar to build classes based around proper alignment and breath control. I encourage my students to use props and focus on their karma yoga - the path of action without attachment to the result. My goal is to create an environment that not only allows for growth in your yoga practice, but also in your life. I look forward to teaching and sharing this space with each and every one of you! Jimena Tobon

My deep passion for fitness led me to begin practicing yoga over 10 years ago. As I began my Hot Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training, I quickly learned that there are significantly more important gains from practicing yoga than just the physical ones. In order to expand my knowledge of yoga's inherent mind-body-soul connection, I enrolled and completed the 500-Hr Teacher Training at YogaWorks. Taking part in this professional program involved active participation in workshops, lectures, as well as an apprenticeship program. The person with whom I undertook my apprenticeship, Lainie Devina, is my role model and continues to be my inspiration as I trek along my effortful journey to become a better yogi. My classes are carefully planned as observing students' bodies and adjusting their poses as needed is part of my teaching routine. My energetic and enthusiastic demeanor as a Yoga Instructor is reflected in my teaching methods, as well as in the way in which I communicate with others. I am grateful to share something that I am passionate about with other people.

Morgan Kaczor

200 Hour RYT, Yoga Sculpt Certified, Kids Yoga Certified.
Morgan graduated from California State University Long Beach with a BA in Child Development and Family Studies and a minor in Dance. Throughout her college career she worked as a teacher in the Child and Family Center, taught dance to children and continued to return back to Summer Camp in Los Angeles as a Director for 12 years. After graduating college, she went on to become the Assistant Director at My Gym Fitness Center in Manhattan Beach, developing and facilitating programs to help children 6 weeks to 15 years develop physically, cognitively and emotionally. Morgan spent the 2012-2013 school year in Israel as a volunteer through the Israel Teaching Fellowship, teaching English to students in 1st-6th grade. Morgan has always been an athlete and her love for movement and meditation continued as she decided to further her knowledge and practice by studying to receive her Yoga Teacher certification. Yoga, for Morgan, is the "owners manual" to living the brightest version of oneself. Morgan's passion for yoga has pushed her to a greater understanding of herself and sparked a fire within to share the use and benefits of yoga, with intent, as a tool for true healing and happiness for everyone. Morgan's class is full of positive energy, a powerful flow and rockin' beats. Morgan hopes to give students of all ages an opportunity to expand themselves both on and off the mat.
Warrior Flow 1 - Good choice for beginners. Offered in the hot yoga room and the non-heated yoga room. Warrior Flow 1 is a slower-paced vinyasa flow class geared towards those new to yoga or prefer a slightly gentler class. Unroll your yoga mat for an invigorating full-body flow where you’ll explore the yoga postures and fundamental principles of Vinyasa yoga. You’ll flow continuously through strong sequences of traditional Sun Salutations and standing postures, linking breath with movement and building confidence and strength as you push the edge of your balance and flexibility.
