Alizah discovered her love for yoga while on a family vacation at 15 yrs old and has been practing every since. As an athlete and truth seeker, yoga brought an element to her lifestyle that she did not know was missing until then. In university, Alizah was mentored to teach and for the past ten years, has been facilitating private and group yoga inspired activities. Her search and passion in this arena brought her to India where she completed several certifications and re-affirmed what her practice and teaching was all about. She was given the opportunity to stay in Rishikesh, "the City of Yoga" to teach people new and old to yoga from around the world. Now back in LA, Alizah continues to share and deepen her own practice. As also a nationally competing triathlete, pilates/spinning and break work instructor, Alizah has a vast array of formats, styles and experience that she is excited to share with the WARRIOR&CO. community. Hot Mat Pilates
Hot Mat Pilates. Offered in the hot yoga room. Hot Pilates strengthens muscles and burns fat — all without the pounding of a high impact workout. Using Pilates principles, Hot Mat Pilates is a challenging, full body, low impact, high intensity workout. Your entire core, glutes, and upper body will receive special attention. This energetic class is paired up with up-beat music to keep you motivated. Not to mention health and flexibility of the spine to train your muscles to work together; which will lead to good posture & strength throughout your body. It is performed on a yoga mat in a heated environment.
